User’s Conference and Training
February, 2009
We have had some inquires regarding the dates of our User's Conference
for 2010. Due to the current economic climate, we have decided not to host
the traditional User's Conference, but will instead offer 2-day training
sessions at no charge. We will be holding these training sessions at our offices
in Mesa, AZ, on March 22-23 and April 22-23. Seating is limited. If you are interested
in attending one of the training sessions, please call us to reserve a spot.
***Please note we still have room available in our March and April sessions.
We will provide transportation between hotel and our office before and after the
training seminars, to keep your travel expenses down. Please contact Rebecca for

Event Software’s 6th Annual User’s Conference
February 19th-21st, 2009
On February 19th, 2009 roughly 20 customers from across the country (and
Canada) came to take part in Event Software’s 6th Annual User’s
Conference. We were so pleased that so many people were able to attend,
even with massive budget cuts and tough economic times being felt by all.
The first segment of the User’s Conference involved the FASTbook
Town Hall; we were all able to learn a bit about each other and the various
ways in which FASTbook is used and how it helps facilities with their day-to-day
event management as well as with future events.
The next day and a half was spent with hands-on FASTbook training. We
were able to cover all the “ins-and-outs” of FASTbook, as well
as taking time to answer user and facility specific questions. It is such
an advantage to the attendees, to get feedback to their questions from
not only us, the Event Software Team, but from new and old users of FASTbook
alike!
We had an amazing Round Table discussion on Day Two of the conference.
We discussed new features “coming soon”; as well as getting
an idea of what FASTbook should do in the future. Conference attendees,
your feedback is invaluable to us, and we truly appreciate your business
as well as your willingness to work with us to make a better product!
Friday night, Keith Enlow, CEO of Event Software, once again hosted a
delightful Mexican Themed dinner at his home. With plenty of food, great
company and some hilarious conversations, good times were had by all.
Saturday was focused on Report Builder. It is a complex piece of software
to learn, but learning the basics is half the battle! Everyone in attendance
seemed to really grasp a much further understanding of the software and
it’s capabilities!
We were able to integrate so many of the features and enhancements that
the conference attendees suggested! If you have yet to update to the latest
FASTbook version (version 5.5.15), which includes many of those enhancements,
please contact us!
We look forward to next year’s conference, when hopefully purse
strings aren’t so tight and more of you are able to attend!
